Glorya Kaufman has, for many years given scholarships to the West American Jewish University for single mothers.
This allows them to complete their education, in order to earn a living, and also enables the children to understand the importance of education.
This year she added a gift to the University to have ball room dance programs for the community. So often elderly and young adults want to learn to dance and to go somewhere they can meet kindred souls. Social dancing helps bridge this gap.
