When the earthquake struck in 1994, Glorya Kaufman marched into the temporary office of the Saint John’s Hospital Foundation, and donated funds to build the Family Waiting Room.
Located on Level 1 of the Saint John’s Health Center, the Family Waiting Room provides a quiet and comfortable place with a reassuring atmosphere for families and visitors to relax and take a break from the stress of caring for a loved one.
