- Glorya received an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from The Juilliard School in New York. Glorya’s gift to The Juilliard School created the beautiful new Glorya Kaufman Dance Studio as part of the school’s renovation in 2009. The 2,300-square-foot studio overlooks the lights on Broadway, and can also be used as an event space for dinner parties.
